Il disco è stato interamente remixato dal leader della band Kevin Rowland insieme agli altri membri del gruppo Elen O'Hara e Pete Schwier.

Too-Rye-Ay è l'album di maggior successo dei Dexys Midnight Runners. Contiene i singoli Come On Eileen, Show Me, The Celtic Soul Brothers, Liars A To E e Jackie Wilson Said.
